OKX fees and the BONUS400 fee discount
A plain guide to OKX trading fees: what maker and taker fees are, typical rates for new users, and how the BONUS400 referral code may lower what you pay.
Standard OKX fees (regular users)
| Maker | Taker | |
|---|---|---|
| Spot | 0.08% | 0.10% |
| Perpetual futures | 0.02% | 0.05% |
Typical rates for regular users at the time of writing. Rates differ by region, VIP tier and product — always check the official OKX fee page before trading.
Maker vs. taker
A maker order adds liquidity to the order book (for example a limit order that does not fill instantly) and usually pays less. A taker order fills immediately against existing orders (for example a market order) and pays the higher rate.
How the BONUS400 discount works
Sign up through the BONUS400 referral code and you may qualify for a potential 10% trading-fee discount (kickback). Example: a €10,000 spot taker trade at 0.10% costs €10; with a 10% discount it would cost about €9. Eligibility and duration are set by OKX during registration.
More ways to lower fees
Use limit orders to pay maker instead of taker fees, and grow your 30-day trading volume or asset balance to reach higher fee tiers. Remember that leveraged products carry a high risk of losing money quickly.
